Janis Gaudreau (they/them)
PhD Student INP

I am currently a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program at the University of Rhode Island. I graduated from Keene State College in 2020 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Genocide Studies, and completed my  Master's in Neuroscience from URI in 2024. My research interests include memory, neurodegenerative diseases, and movement. I volunteer with BRAINY/Brain Week RI, and SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island. In my free time I’m typically spending time with my friends, walking dogs, or traveling!

Michelle Lim  
PhD Student | INP

I am currently doing  my PhD in the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program at the University of Rhode Island. I graduated from Northeastern University in 2021 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science. Afterward, I worked at Neurable as the lab manager. My research interests are in Brain-Computer Interface, EEG, executive functions, and physical activity.

Haley Forbes (she/her)
PhD Student | Kinesiology

Haley is a doctoral student in the Health Sciences PhD program at URI. She graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. In addition to her studies, she currently runs the Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Lab at Hasbro Children’s Pediatric Heart Center.  Her research interests are in looking into the psychophysiological effects of exercise in pediatrics.  Outside of her academic and research responsibilities, Haley enjoys weightlifting and spending time with her family.

Cayla Cajilig (she/her)
Masters Student | Kinesiology

Cayla is currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Kinesiology on the Pre-Professional Track. As of Fall 2024, she started her first year of the ABM (accelerated bachelors to masters) Kinesiology program, where she is specializing in the  psychosocial/ behavioral aspects of physical activity. This is her second semester being part of the Logan Lab, where she has contributed her efforts to the PALACE children and PALACE young adult study. Her academic interests include strength and conditioning, sports performance in athletes, and health promotion. Cayla's research focuses on physical activity trends throughout the lifespan of different populations, such as children with ADHD.  In addition to her studies, Cayla plays on the varsity women's soccer team at URI. She is originally from Toronto, Canada, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, watching movies, and being outdoors. 

Kane Woods (he/him)
Masters Student | INP

Kane is a master's student in the University of Rhode Island's Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program. He recently graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, with a concentration in systems and behavior. Kane is also a proud member of Nu Rho Psi, the national honors society in neuroscience. His research interests include but are not limited to the intersection between brain dysfunction and its effect on human behavior and cognitive performance. In addition to his studies, he is certified and practicing EMT in the state of Connecticut, working in tandem with other first responders to make the community he serves safe. Outside of academics and work, Kane enjoys weightlifting and watching both MMA and football.

Alexa Calderon (she/her)
Undergraduate RA | INP

I am currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Rhode Island. I am double majoring in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (B.S.) and Biological Sciences (B.S.) on the pre-medical track. I plan on receiving both degrees in Bachelor's of Science in May, 2025, and from there pursuing medical school. My research interests include pediatrics, psychophysiological effects of exercise, and neurodegenerative diseases. I also volunteer at URI EMS, responding to medical emergencies on and off the University of Rhode Island campus and surrounding communities, and am part of Chi Omega, where I enjoy fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Outside of class and lab, I enjoy watching the sunset, playing soccer, going to the gym, and seeing my two dogs, Bailey and Dempsey, who are both golden retrievers

Charlotte Imperio (she/her)
Undergraduate RA | INP 

I am currently a senior undergraduate in the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience program at the University of Rhode Island. I plan on graduating in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience and pursuing a Physician Assistant degree. My research interests include pediatrics, neurodevelopmental disorders, and developmental and cognitive neuroscience. I am part of the Chi Omega fraternity where I am part of the executive board and enjoy fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation, and I am a soccer coach in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, working on skills with children of all age ranges. I am always active outside of the lab, playing soccer, hiking, traveling, going to the gym, or just being outside. I have three siblings, all who endure some type of neurological disorder, and I am very passionate about helping to find new treatments of these disorders and improve kids' health.

Wakaa! Hello! My name is Victoria Fisher and my Inupiaq name is Aligaq. I am from the village of Unalakleet in Alaska, and I am a junior in college majoring in Health Sciences on the pre-med track. During my free time, I can be found reading, baking, subsisting, making coffee/tea or hanging out with my friends and family.
